A MODERN MINIMALISTIC STYLED SHOOT IN KAUFMAN, TEXAS
The most perfect June summer day at the Emerson just outside of Dallas, Texas alongside the most wonderful people and new friends. I am so thankful for this vendor community that made this day possible — truly one of my favorite days yet. I have dreamed of photographing the Emerson Venue for such a long time and it quickly became one of my favorite places. If you are in the Texas area, or willing to travel, and looking for a venue for your intimate I can not recommend this place enough. The staff was a joy to work alongside and I am in awe at what they have done at The Emerson.
THE VISION
Our inspiration for the shoot was a modern, minimalistic theme with lots of whites + clean colors with some fun elements such as disco balls & a champagne tower. With the shoot being in Texas, I knew I also wanted to throw in a cowboy hat and get a few more western feel photos as well. I had a Pinterest board full of inspiration and ideas for months before the shoot came to life and I was beyond excited to see what we would create. The Emerson is a venue I don’t think I could ever get tired of photographing.
